LOCAL RESTAURANTS AND CAFÉS
Montenegrin cuisine combines Mediterranean and Balkan flavors. Along the coast, you’ll find fresh seafood, grilled fish, and light dishes with olive oil and herbs. Inland, meals are heartier, with grilled meats, local cheeses, and traditional specialties like ćevapi, pršut, and burek.

Popular local wines include Vranac (rich red) and Krstač (fresh white). The food is simple, fresh, and flavorful—best enjoyed with a glass of local wine or rakija.
For a refined and upscale dining experience, visit Porto Montenegro in Tivat, home to elegant restaurants offering a mix of traditional Montenegrin and European cuisine.
